“TEEMING WITH LIFE”
Site-specific mural by Zuzana Vass
ART THAT BECOMES PART OF THE PLACE
Site-specific murals and sculptural artwork for residential, commercial and public spaces.
I create artwork designed specifically for the environment it inhabits—responding to architecture, light, landscape and the people who experience it.

Nothing here is completely still.
Teeming with Life changes with the environment around it. As the sun moves across the courtyard, shimmering surfaces catch the light and sculptural relief creates shifting shadows. The mural looks different throughout the day—moving from the bright, seemingly still world above the water into a quieter world that is, in fact, teeming with life.

Zuzana Vass — Muralist & Illustrator
I have spent more than two decades dedicated to art and illustration, developing a practice rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship and a close connection to the world around me.
My work has taken me from illustration and children`s books to large-scale, site-specific murals and sculptural artwork throughout the San Diego community. I bring experience, curiosity, and a genuine connection to the places I create for.
WHAT COULD YOUR SPACE BECOME?
A blank wall can become a landmark.
A courtyard can become a gathering place.
A familiar building can become part of the identity of a neighborhood.
I create original, site-specific artwork for residential, commercial and public spaces— working with the architecture, surroundings and character of each place to create something that truly belongs there.

art can change how a place is experienced.
Thoughtfully designed artwork can give a space a stronger identity, create memorable experiences, and invite people to stop, gather and connect.
For a property, t can become a defining feature. For a business, a recognizable part of its identity. For a neighborhood, it can become something people know as part of their community.
And for visitors, it can become a reason to pause, photograph, explore and remember a place.
The most successful site-specific artwork doesn`t simply decorate a building. It becomes part of the place.
